For the retail experiences at Intuit Dome our Studio designed more than 50 bespoke display and merchandising fixtures to show-off the Clipper’s diverse product assortment. Our “workhorse” fixtures utilized bn_industries powerhouse 1224 System, while more lifestyle tables and displays incorporated translucent, color-matched materials from 3form , semi-reflective metals from forms_surfaces , and maple wood accents from koroseal & surfacingsolution , to name just a few! All of these fixtures, as well as the entire interior architecture of the stores were designed to work seamlessly with cutting-edge technology that is embedded into the fan experience at the arena (more on this later).

This mood board and renderings showcase the design for Azul at Spectrum in Arizona. It is an approach to a more modern Southwestern style. From striking murals, we pulled warm tones mixed with earthy blues and greens. We used hand made tiles with wood elements, organic shaped case goods made of stone, and lighting elements made of alabaster and organically shaped glass. Standard Room at The Beacon on hgtv “100 Day Hotel Challenge”. One of the design challenges in this room was the lack of a closet or wardrobe space. We took the vestibule into the restroom and turned that into a wardrobe, extra vanity mirror and mini fridge space. ✨

For this hotel, we pushed the envelope with color. (Is anyone here surprised?) It’s the yellow surfacingsolution Tambor teardrops over the nightstands for me. We took a risk with tambor ceiling for texture and the result was a classy, almost Hollywood regency from the 70s vibe. Enough coastal in personality, while avoiding the “expected”. The perimeter cove lighting elevated the room with warmth, almost giving it sunset vibes to quote mrbreakinground … What do you guys think!?

The concept for Watershed, a coastal seafood bar nestled in the heart of Sarasota, Florida, is a blend of rustic-industrial charm and vintage, nautical design. Transforming the industrial garage building began by revitalizing the existing elements with current modern aesthetics to create a comfortable, inviting interior for guests to dine in. Handmade tiles, wood, metal, and natural stone were carefully placed to enhance aesthetic appeal while paying homage to Sarasota’s fishing village heritage.

Meet samhcho , you may have heard of him! Sam is a politician, businessman , serial entrepreneur and part-time hooper on the court! He was the youngest and first person of color to chair the Port of Seattle Commission since its founding.
During the pandemic, he and his family decided to open a cafe in honor and remembrance of his late-father. For the last two years, we’ve helped his family bring their vision to life along with our many partners and collaborators.
This is no ordinary boba cafe. Sam is trying to spark civic engagement by allowing patrons to vote/choose where a portion of their spending goes. Each period throughout the year, he will feature a rotation of 3 charities/nonprofits that you will get to choose where the proceeds will be directed to.
It’s a bold and creative way to rethink and ignite how we show up in the world, and promote more civic participation and conscious spending. We’re proud to help clients like Sam breathe life into new ideas and new ways of thinking through architecture and design, and help craft a story that reflects their values in an authentic way.

Three Collective is an adaptive reuse project a stone’s throw away from the nation’s capital. The gold standard for office to residential conversions, it consists of 3 high rise office towers transformed into live/work units with approximately 30,000 square feet of common spaces and super amenities, as well as corridors and exterior spaces. Each building has 3 garage levels with amenities that include a makerspace, indoor dog park, dog spas, and Luxer One package rooms as well as a main amenity floor that has conference rooms, game rooms, co-working spaces, a bowling alley, virtual reality space, art studio, recording studios, and indoor/outdoor amphitheater. A portion of the grounds will also serve as a public park. The team has created a hub for activity that allows its residents to expand their time and talents and give them spaces to do and be whatever they have always wanted to. Entrepreneurs, creators, innovators of all ages and sizes can carve out a niche here and learn and grow with the tools they need in their own home. Building 1 is open, with buildings 2 and 3 opening later this year

One of my favorite features of our home: our fireplace.
With a lot of clean lines in our home I knew I wanted to add warmth and texture, I love natural texture. I found this amazing scalloped wood tambour (flexible) product from a company (surfacingsolution in Minnesota that I knew I had to have. Ryan knew this wasn’t negotiable lol.
I bought what we could afford which was in pine (vs. walnut or white oak) and was informed that pine is incredibly hard to stain because of the green undertones. But if you find the right people and are willing to collaborate and challenge the standard, you get something better than you expected!
I also designed the fireplace mantle and hearth with 101 Cast Stone; they were so patient as we tried 6 different color variations and tints and then I ended up settling on a standard color of theirs: black. Always a process!
